Staglieno is the largest outdoor sculpture museum in Europe. It covers 330,000 square meters (more than 3.5 million square feet) and has over 117,000 grave sites, of which 290 are chapels placed within the open arches of the gallery arcades, and 468 fill the large internal gallery niches.
