On May 15 we presented our first restoration projects at a conference in Genoa, Italy organized by the City of Genoa and the U.S. Consular Agency in Genoa along with the American International Woman's Club in Genoa.

Walter S. Arnold presented a slide lecture on the sculpture of Staglieno at the Lizzadro Museum of Lapidary Art in Elmhurst, Illinois. He explained the tools and techniques used by marble carvers to transform massive blocks of stone into these dramatic and symbolic memorials, and showed the progress of our restoration efforts.
